Oral sedation options for root canal treatment
Oral sedation options.
Oral sedation is for our patients with dental anxieties. We are pleased to offer options to ensure your visit is a pleasant one.
Tablets: Two tablets of a mild sedative are prescribed. The first tablet is optionally taken before bed to ensure the patient gets a good night’s sleep. The second is taken one to two hours before dental treatment. The patient will need to get a ride to and from our office.
Nitrous Oxide (more commonly known as “laughing gas”) does not require an additional driver the day of treatment.
